Sierra heads to Pheonix for AXUG and CRMUG Summits, October 15

Microsoft Dynamic Communities events offer peer-to-peer expertise to include full immersion training, enhance competencies and confidence, equip organizations with tools to work through system issues and facilitate impactful collaboration between an ecosystem of users, partners and developers. Concurrent conferences will be hosted in Pheonix, Arizona from October 15 – 18, 2018.

The AXUG Summit rounds peers and experts in a lively, and engaged conference for Microsoft Dynamics CRM & 365. Sierra Systems’ own Walter Scheepstra, Solution Specialist, will present Power Apps, Flow and the Common Data Service at Work in Dynamics 365FO.

You have heard about PowerApps, you know about Flow and CDS. But have you seen them work together? In this session we will take you through a common business scenario and show you how PowerApps and Flow work together with D365 FO to update Fixed Asset records in D365 FO and send out a notification to those involved. We will also show and explain how and what we build using PowerApps and Flow.

Learning Objectives:

  • Upon completion, participants will be able to understand and work with PowerApps and Flow
  • Upon completion, participants will be able to begin building their own PowerApp
  • Participants will understand how PowerApps and Flow work together with D365 FO to update Fixed Asset records in D365 FO and send out a notification to those involved

CRMUG Summit – Phoenix, Arizona (October 15 – 18)

The CRMUG Summit rounds peers and experts in a lively, and engaged conference for Microsoft Dynamics CRM & 365. Sierra Systems’ Matthias Schleweis, Solution Architect, presents PowerApps Within a Vending Machine.

PowerApps, Flow, Common Data Services (CDS) – PowerApps can be used to easily extend out the D365 CE platform into mobile specialized apps, and also reach beyond D365 CE to interact with other apps. Flow picks up from where the D365 CE workflows stop, and CDS is the underlying data broker that stitches everything together. In this session, we will review how they all complement the “classic CRM” components.
